Felt like drawing something a bit loose, so I dug up a charcoal pencil and drew whatever came to mind, and this is what came out. I like how it shows three of the elements, all in black and white. Clouds are hard to draw in grayscale.

I'm not sure what the mood is for this picture. I just wanted something high-contrasty, because of the nature of the medium, and something that makes you feel something, even if you don't know what exactly.

Because that's probably a perfect explanation of the way I've been feeling lately. I've been feeling something but I'm not quite sure what. Uncertainty? Longing? Contentment? Defeat? Love? Hopeful? Lonely?

I honestly don't know.

beautiful!! I think you did achieve the contrast, with the light sky behind the horse especially. i love the curve of the sky and the clouds. i think the mood is like the title-- contemplative, thoughtful.

Wow, spectacular work, I love the clouds and the way they seem to move around, The shading is perfect and the emotion put into it is great! Spectacular work!

It's beautiful :) :iconiluplz: Very moving and full of emotion. Honestly, I think of a lone traveler when I see this. But it's also full of this great beauty too. :heart:
