Drunken Starlight

"Your eyesh are beautiful," he slurred.
"You're drunk," she giggled.
"Sho're you!" He argued.
"True," she said, biting her lip, "But that don't mean you mean what you mea... er, what you shaid." She drawled, and giggled again.
"You talk alot... when you're drunk," he observed.
"I know," she bit down another giggle. Her fingers twitched, torn between pushing him away and, spirits forbid, pulling him closer.

Yay! Way overdue Tokka goodness!

Drunk!Tokka to be specific. They actually look alot drunker in the sketch. I tried to make them flushed, a bit uncoordinated-looking. When they didn't look quite as drunk as I'd hoped, I blurred the edges of the picture to add to it.

The drunken-ness is why Toph is sooo ooc. (that was alot of o's)
Why is it that she ages beautifully for me but Sokka never looks a day older? He's a bit more muscular, but that's all. I never even make up a new outfit for him! (Also, he seems shorter because he's slouching, and they probably just fell against the wall after losing their balance. So yeah.)

You do not appreciate how hard it was to draw their faces! *accusatory*

Can you tell I love having Photoshop back? I think I've almost got night colors down. *grin* It was so cool - the way I painted them, they fit whatever color background I put behind them. If I wanted, I could've put them in a warm red cave, or in normal daylight, or what-have-you.

But I like the night scene.
