Exe Is Born

The foal was born on Starstruck Stables property after his parents were rescued by a local Human Society and given to the stables for fostering. The stallion, named Bruno, was gelded before he and the pregnant mare even arrived on the property.

The mare carried to term with no problems, even though the stallion was substantially larger than she was. The tough old bird, nicknamed Petunia by the rescue workers, gave birth to a little yellow foal in the middle of the night. It was the same year that Lisa was starting to have the idea of an original breed, a mix of her favorite breeds, the same ones these grades Kate had rescued. Huh, interesting coincidence.

The foal grew and eventually became a stallion of unusual interest, throwing mutations and high rates of chimeras and twins and whatever else. We left him un-gelded and called in scientists to run genetics tests. He made a fine foundation stallion for the new Norwegian Warhorse breed.
