My first finished digital commission for *PearlyPony.
This pose should look familiar, it was one of my original sketches. Now it's all trussied up and filled with my artistic heart and soul. I always do my best on commissions. I imagine that they're on the top of some private mountain, higher than the clouds, where the mist dusts off the snow in the gentle breezes blowing up from the clouds below, and the sky is the purest blue, even as a stormcloud builds far off in the west, and shades the couple from the sun a bit. The mare reaches forward and snatches a bit of the stallion's mane in her lips, chewing on it absently as she hums a gentle little tune. The wind blows and tugs on their braided manes, and the bits of blue ribbon woven into them. The winged creatures spread their pinions to balance against it. The stallion snorts and lifts his head to snuffle at the mare's forelock. She sighed contentedly, eyes half closed as the wind flits over her and her mate, who are seemingly impervious to the cold and thin air of the high atmosphere. An uninhabitable place to most, it makes for a private place for the winged creatures to spend time with eachother. They are supposed to be Gypsy-Vanner-ish. I think I did better than I think. Their manes are just a bit thin, but it looks a'right. Naturally, I like the mare best. Her pose and the position of her mane seems so natural to me, and I think I succeeded on the face anatomy better than usual. She looks like I could reach out and touch her. The stallion... eh, he's alright. Had quite the time trying to get that eye of his to look natural. He passes, but not with flying colors like the mare does. I suppose it's a good thing that the mare is so much more stunningly beautiful than the stallion. Hey! Wings! *flail* And no, I don't know how they get about with their manes braided together like that. I don't know how they braid their manes in the first place. RhYthm and RhYme belong to Almost forgot: Mare is a palomino. Stally is perlino. |

Aang: Hey that cloud kinda looks like a fluffy bunny!
Random Village Guy: You better hope that's not a bunny cloud! The bunny cloud forecasts doom and destruction!
Sokka: Do you even hear yourself?

Remember, remember the 5th of November, the gunpowder treason and plot. I know of no reason why the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot

Individuality ends with duality. It's worth figuring out exactly who you are so that you can work out exactly who you should be with

Do what you love and love what you do
Thankyou! I like the way I draw hair too. I was amazed how changing the color of the sketch lines made it softer!

Being a Christian doesn't make me better than you. I'm just someone who lives their life in a different way, and tries to have a positive influence on the world and show them the way home. That's all I'm here for. It's what I was made for.
