Ah! Kate is working on Commissions?

Yes, actually, for once in my life.

I like the way the trees turned out. I thought they might look nice. Kind of frame the picture, make for a cozier composition.

I think that Rhythm and Rhyme's bodies are pretty much finished (but I'm trying to figure out what to put in the background to contrast against his legs), but of course, the wings are still needing work.

My thought process is that (because I don't want to paint dozens of fallen leaves) this is a fall/winter thing. Not all the leaves have fallen, but a light first snowfall has covered those on the ground and frost has browned the grasses and weeds. I do like the stark shadows the winged horses make, and I thought they'd look nice on snow. I might change some bits of it though.

The leaves in the trees need work. They're just blobs right now, so I could see the colors.

Tell me what you guys think. (Especially you, Melody!) I'm so happy, though. Yesterday it felt like I was never going to finish this, and now the finish line is just a lap or so away. Time to home in and end it full force!

Melody, I'm going to email you the full-size so that you can zoom in and see the details in the eyes and stuff.

EDIT: I might alter her tail so that it's all flowy like his is now. It's too straight.

Wowser! :jawdrop: Words can't even begin to describe the sheer awesomeness of this picture! The shading is brilliant, and the Pegasi look so incredibly realistic! You're one heck of an artist, my friend! :D

This is awesome!! the colours are fantastic :D Although, is it just me or does the palomino have an ear missing? I just thought I'd ask, sorry if that sounds dumb!! :)

It's beautiful!! :jawdrop: Absolutely beautiful! I love the bodies of the pegasi. The details are so clear and well done. And the manes defy all words. :)

wow! :wow: :omfg: this is looking amazing so far, kate! (haha it sounds wierd to say that, my name is Kate too :XD:) when i saw this in my inbox on the last WIP, i was like in my head *hmm.. she needs a few trees (or something) to frame the picture, because it seems kind of barren* so AHH you did that perfectly :XD: and then... before i read your comments i thought that her tail was too straight, because his was all flowy. i must have read your mind! :XD:

wow didnt mean to write that much, i just thought it was amazing that you pinpointed everything i thought of xD
