TokkaWeek Day 5- Hide and SeekToph sat on the concrete edge, staring down with sightless eyes into the churning water that reflected the sunlight up into a shifting net of light over her face. She tossed her head and sweeped her loose ponytail over her shoulder onto her back. Then she looked back in the general direction of where his voice had come from.

Nymph Unfinished Adoptionby ~daughterofthestars

So, I started this. But I got lazy in the middle. Fighting a cold doesn't leave much left over for art.

An adoption picture, I think. I wasn't sure if I wanted to adopt her, but I think I will.

I put her in the snow, because it's an easy scene to paint, but I actually imagine her as a kind of water/river spirit, thus the name Nymph. I can see her wooing some passerby stallion. :giggle:

Gawd, her face makes my eyes hurt. I could have done better. Sue me. :P

Her face is a lighter colour then the rest of her... Makes my eyes hurt too...

But it's otherwise just such a beautiful picture! Her pose is simply wonderful! And she does look a lot like a Water Spirit, although she probably has a lot of fighting spirit as well. Passerby stallions, watch out!
