I had a lot of fun making this. I'm really just poking fun of my insecurities. Toph's like "Get over it, we need something to do."

Uhhhh huh.

And the writer isn't just Maren. Myah, Leona, you guys are all wonderful for giving me lots of things to draw. :D

EDIT: I changed the title to "Our Role" because through all your comments you guys have shown me that, whether artists or writers, we've all had moments like this where we wonder when we ever thought we had the gumption to think we were any good. But then we get a kind word from another of our kind and we're encouraged to keep pressing onwards and challenging ourselves.

If only there were some kind of petition to sign that would ensure that there's some Tokka flashbacks in the next season of Korra.

I can't draw but I know how to write. But that's the thing, I have talent at writing so I don't know how I'm so good. I guess I just go with the most obvious plot lines, throw in some humor and parodies, and there you go you have an original story. Try it using Avatar the Last Airbender for inspiration. Or you can make a comic strip, it doesn't have to be fully written.

My advice in a nutshell is put three characters that have never been together in any work you have seen, research what is already being done with those characters so you know what not to do with the classes (like a necromancer or succubus) and make them your own and unique. Just do what feels right to you and whatever you come up with just set the characters up for success and the plot to further itself.
