Pavo has been reborn!

Pavo was one of the first few foals I made, but later I didn't really like the design. I hadn't put alot into it.

I hope xxInsanity didn't want him. It was her stallion.

Even though I changed the dam's coloring (silver yellow dun to palomino dun), this guys stayed the same, basically. He's still a red dun, just without the flaxen mane. And obviously his markings have changed a bit. I based them on an overo horse that appears in some stock photos.

I really like the way he looks. And when I drew him in a rearing pose, I knew he was going to be a trick horse. I've always wanted one of those.

When he isn't learning new tricks, he's being ridden on trails. He and his dam are our favorite horses to trail-ride on the beach. They both love splashing in the water and running through the sand.

We caught him on the Californian shore. He was a yearling, and his mother was a wild mustang in a small herd there. When running away, he sprained his foot and couldn't get away. His dam refused to leave him, and we brought them both home to Starstruck Stables and nursed him back to health, earning his trust. He's smart and quick, and picks up tricks really easily with positive reinforcement.

He loves attention, and he loves kids, because they give him lots of attention. He's our "pony ride" for when kids come over. They love his personality and his colors.

He's got a sturdy frame. We know he's not 100% mustang, but we're not sure what the rest is. He's very surefooted (despite spraining his foot when he was young), and I've never seen him stumble on the trail.

His one big thing is arachnaphobia. If he see's a spider on the trail, he stops dead and trembles, and I have to tell people to turn him around right away and go another way, because if you wait too long, he'll bolt for home.

He also doesn't like it when people where bangles. You know, the big clinky fake metal bracelets? He gets nervous around people wearing them, especially if they make alot of noise.

This horse is a Quarter Horse paint named Houston, and has been found in three different galleries so far.

All three are the same person. So I give all of thee credit! I referenced Pavo's markings very closely to Houstons, mostly in the side and flank areas. Thank you so much!
