PiNKiTUDE is a pink attitude that says you are bold and take chances.
PiNKiTUDE is caring about body and spirit.
PiNKiTUDE is style that stands out in a sea of black and grey.
PiNKiTUDE is whimsical, sexy, intelligent, and altogether fun!

When I read about this contest, I actually really wanted to enter, and this is what I came up with. I've been working on it off and on for a month, and I really hope it fits what the judges are looking for. I worked hard on it.

I had to do the girl without a reference because the pose immediately popped into my head and I couldn't find a good reference for it.

:love: But I really like how it turned out, and I hope you guys do too!

BTW, Tell me if you like the tank top she's wearing and I'll see if I can design it for real and sell it on Cafepress! I'd probably donate part of the sales to a breast cancer organization.

I meant for there to be more movement in the pose, but I wasn't able to put that across. If any of you have any advice for future paintings, that'd be great.

Also, I used alot of brushes in this. IF YOU RECOGNIZE ANY OF THEM, please try to find it and give me a link? I found a few and have them here, but I don't want to leave credit ungiven for such great brushes!

My grandma died of colon cancer when I was a little girl. My grandpa on the same side has a different kind of cancer now as well. Breast cancer may not have effected me directly, but it effects alot of people, and awareness is a big part of treating people early enough to defeat it. I wanted to take a part in it.

She inspired it a bit but no, it's not meant to be specifically Avril. She's a bit darker in her style and a bit more boyish.
