I think it's finally done. The little details I've been meaning to add are finally in, and I can't think of anything else I need to do to it. Of course, if there's something *PearlyPony wants me to fix, I will, but other than that, I'm declaring this piece finally done.

Detail of their faces is in my scraps. You can't see her eyes too well from way out here. Full view is a must.

I don't have much to say about it. I don't care how you interpret it, but after I learned a little more about the relationship between these two, I tried to draw something that showed the mare attempting to break through the stallion's shell. He's been hurt before, and is afraid to love someone else, and she's just trying to convince him that there is nothing to be afraid of.

I didn't finish it for Christmas but I finished it for the New Year!

Guess what, Kate? It's my birthday today! :D :D And it's 5.52pm here now, sooooooo... this is a superb birthday present for me :love::love::love::love::love: Thank you very very very much! They look exceptionally special and the whole background does too. And I really love the little bluebirds with the blue ribbons so much too :aww::aww: So erm, you are welcome to send me the fullsize and I will make sure I print it today if you're able to do that today hehe. Everything is gorgeous, especially the white horse. The detail on him/her is just amazing. The lighting is great!!!! and the braids and feathers are like WHOAH.
