Decided no color, but I did shade. I kind of like it this way. Easier to look at, I think, that the bright colors alot of people use. XD

And wow, I did an entire Avatar meme and it doesn't have any outrageous Tokka in it. Rather, it has Tozai. Wth?

Is genderbending specific to Avatar (an offshoot of element-bending and "tear bending") or is it a genre-wide term that just happens to use the word "bend"?

No, genderbending goes all the way back to the eighties, and means to bend the rules of gender distinction through clothes, accessories, or actual gender/design change. This means that even cross-dressing a character is gender bending, and although the term "bending" did not come from Avatar, it is indeed a lovely pun on the show's main fighting style.
